A bit naive, very loving and with dreaming melodies, Carl, Tobias and Marcus get help from Markus and Niklas, drummer and bass player from post punk act Aerial. YAST will always be influenced by Yo La Tengo,Neil Young and Pavement but find inspiration in a variety of music and things.
Monde Yeux has performed at several large Swedish festivals, including Emmaboda & Hultsfred. Ukulele, Accordion and Violin are some of the instruments they bring up on stage. A wise man once desribed their music as: "toetapping" Their main influence is that guy with the accordion outside Ica Maxi.
