YAST will always be influenced by Yo La Tengo,Neil Young and Pavement but find inspiration in a variety of music and things.

Originally, to Sebastian Arnström Simian Ghost served as a side project to the indie rock band Aerial. As time went by it grew on him and nowadays this electronic act with sensitive pop melodies is the main project expanded to three members.
