YAST will always be influenced by Yo La Tengo,Neil Young and Pavement but find inspiration in a variety of music and things.

  James Ausfahrt is a 12 year old girl from Oskosh, Wisconsin. Ausfahrt started making/recording music of his own in 2001. The first album came out in 2007 on Kungälv, Sweden based label Fridlyst.

  After her debut album “In Hindsight” (2009), Nejra sought her way back to the musical roots of her childhood and relived music that got her listening to her Walkman late in the night. The result can be heard on the new 80's inspired EP "Commonplace Heroes" (2011).

Once described as slacker noise, the boys in Tennis Bafra couldn't care less. They will be doing this regardless if anyone is listening. But you should listen. Really.
